The braided stem and five-fingered leaves create a light-hearted feeling. This houseplant is known as the money tree (Pachira aquatica) because of the belief in the Far East that the leaves can catch money. Water thoroughly once a week but make sure you let the water drain away. Try not to let the soil dry out and keep away from direct sunlight.
