Windlebridge Garden Nursery Expansion

Expansion plans here at Windlebridge Garden Nursery are now in full swing. A new two story warehouse, delivery yard and extra parking is due to be completed by May 2021. The Covid Pandemic has meant that we have had alter our timelines for the expansion. Before the Pandemic struck the initial aim and investment for the adjacent land was to get new greenhouses and pollytunnels erected to start growing the majority of our plants in house and also allow us to carry more stock. 

However with the numerous lockdowns we have now endured this has seen a dramatic shift in the way our consumers shop with a massive increase in nationwide online orders for categories such as plant food, weed killers and general garden accessories. Therefore we have had to focus on building our new two story warehouse. The new warehouse will enable us to widen our already extensive product lines and also carry more items in stock than ever before. It will also be our distribution centre for all our online national and local delivery orders. 

Running low on certain composts should also be a thing of the past with our new serviced yard allowing us to carry more stock throughout the seasons. 

Last but not least once the popular tea rooms at windlebridge is allowed to reopen from the 12th Of April (outdoor seating only) car parking can be problematic. Once complete we will have over double the current parking, so no more struggling for spaces!
